Hello everyone,
I’m Mayu. The owner of Hidamari.
This is a weekly report of last week.

先週もお天気が悪い中、たくさんのお客様にお越しいただきました。
夜囲碁には、初めて、サウジアラビアから日本にインターンシップに来ていた方にご来店いただきました。

It is still rainy season here in Japan.
But there were many customers at Hidamari. Thanks!

Snailman from Saudi arabia came and played real Go for the first time.
He watched Youtube video of Go before but his experience was only that.

At the begging of the lecture, he looked difficult.
After a half hour, he could play with Tsukasa who is a Go teacher here.

彼は初めて囲碁を体験し、楽しんでお帰りになりました。

最近いらっしゃる囲碁がはじめての外国人の方は、
Youtubeでルールを見てきている方が多いです。

Most of foreigners from other countries serched how to play Go,
but it is difficult to understand without teacher I think.

しかしながら、人に教わるのと、ただ見ているのとではやはり違うので、
実際にやってみると、難しい！と言っています。
しかし、そこにおもしろさを見出して集中していく方が多いので、
帰るときには笑顔でひだまりをあとにしています。

週末は私は年に一度の勝負美人杯にお客様と参加してきました！
こちらのレポートはまたあらためて。

By the way, I joined the women tournament of Go with my customer on Sunday.
I’ll write a report of it soon.
