Hello everyone,
I’m Mayu. The owner of Hidamari.
This is a report of Movie lover’s GO tournament.

1月13日は、日本棋院で開催された「映画人囲碁大会」に、お客さまと一緒に参加してきました。
このような大会に大人数で参加するのは初めてです！
総勢13名！

I joined this tournament with my 12 guests.
I had never joined this kind of event with my customers.
From 15 kyu to 7 dan rankers participated this tournament.
ひとり多いのは、大会におひとりで参加されていた方も引き込んだためです（笑）
15級～7段までの方が参加しました。

お昼もみんなで食べるとおいしいですね^^
It was much fun to eat lunch with my friends:)
ひだまりで囲碁を打ち始めた方もいれば、
すでに強かったけど、通ってくれているお客さまもいて、いい交流ができたと思います。
There were some customers who began to play GO at Hidamari.
It was good opportunity to communicate with our customers.

気になる個人の結果はというと、全勝者がひとりいて、広村さんが4勝でした。
しかし、同率1位だと、目数によって1位が決まるため、3位でしたが、
勝ち切るということは非常に難しいので、全勝は素晴らしかったです。
広村さん、おめでとうございます！

My result was 2 won 2 lost.
Mr.Hiromura won all 4 games. But because of the rules, he got a 3rd place.
But it is difficult to win all games,so congratulations!!

広村さんはひだまりから囲碁デビューをして1年経たずして全勝。
毎週夜囲碁に足しげく通っていただいた結果が出て、私たちもうれしい限りです。
Mr.Hiromura began to play Go from Hidamari.
He has been playing Go for less than a year. But every win is a wonderful result.

そして、心から喜べたことは、すべての方が1勝以上できたこと。
自分も含めて。
私は前半の2局は負けてしまったのですが、さすがに店長が全敗だと周りに気を遣わせてしまうので、ちゃんと2勝2敗できてよかったです。
And what I really enjoyed was that everyone could win at least one win.
Including myself.
I lost two games at the begging, but it was nice to be able to win 2 games.
Because of my job, if I lost all of the games,everybody worried about me of course…

個人的な振り返りですが、相変わらずの睡眠不足で参加したわりに、いい感じに打てたと思います。しかしながら、一局目の碁で、余計なところに一手入れてしまい、1目負け（私はコミなしの白番でした）だったので、未だに悔しくて悔しくて、その碁を思い出してしまいます。
As a personal reflection, I think that I was able to feel good because I participated in the lack of sleep as usual. However, in the first game, I just lost 1 point from opponent because my bad stone move. I’m still regret about the game.

日ごろから詰碁をやっていればこんなことにならなかったのに！と悔やまれてなりませんが、
こういうことがあると、頑張ろうというやる気につながるので、次の大会を目標に勉強に励みます。
I wouldn’t have done this if I had solved the Tsumego everyday!
But,this lost will motivate me to do my best from now on. So , I decided to study hard for the next tournament.

今回の大会は、※八段塾塾長のつかさは不参加でしたが、
空いた時間に写真を撮ってくれたり、滞在できる時間は声をかけてくれたりしました。
日ごろひだまりの営業があるため、お互い外に出ることがないので、なんだか新鮮でした。
※八段塾とは、ネット碁8段以上の方だけが参加できる塾です。
Tsukasa who is a teacher of Go at Hidamari  was not participating,
but he took pictures during his spare time and took care about us when he could stay.

そして、大会のあとは日本棋院近くの居酒屋で新年会！
日本棋院に飾って頂いていたひだまりオリジナル13路盤：双碁（ふたご）を回収し、半分のテーブルで連碁をしました。

こうして飲みながらお客さんと交流することが、今まで全くなかったので、
私たち自身もとても楽しかったです。

大会は参加しないけれど、新年会だけというお客さまもいて、総勢15名の大宴会でした。

After the tournament, a New Year party at a Izakaya near Nihonin!
I picked up Hidamari original 13-track board that was displayed at Nippon Kiin and we played group GO at the Izakaya.

Since there was no chance to drink with customers usually,
we were very happy to communicate with them:)

There were some customers who did not participate in the tournament, but only the New Year party.そして感動したのが、そのうち8名が女性だったということ。
囲碁の業界において、半分以上が女性ということはあまりないのではないでしょうか。
What I was impressed is that eight of them were women.
In the Go industry, it is unlikely that more than half are women.

また、参加した方から素敵なメールをいただきました。
このようなメールをいただけると励みになりますね。

今回参加してみて、思い切ってほかにはない囲碁カフェのスタイルを貫いて、心からよかったと思いました。お店を開くまでは、不安や葛藤だらけで、当たり障りのない碁会所をやった方がいいのではないか？と散々悩みました。眠れない日もたくさんありました。
オリジナルの碁盤テーブルを作るか作らないかも、毎日悩みました。

When I participated this time, I thought that it was really good to go through the style of a Go cafe like no other. Until I open Hidamari, I was really nervous. I thought I had to open a Go club like others or not. There were many days I couldn’t sleep.
I was worried every day whether to make an original Go board table or not.

ですが、勇気を出して一歩踏み出したおかげで、毎日1人以上、新たに囲碁を始める人がくるお店になりました。
やらなければなかった出会いもたくさんありました。
However, I cloud see a lot of people with trying.

「ひだまりがあることで、いいご縁ができました。」
これからもそう言ってもらえるように、ワクワクできるイベントや営業を日々心掛けていきます。
I will keep working on exciting  every day for all of my customers.

今回参加してくれた皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。
これから囲碁を始めたい方も、すでに囲碁をやっている方も、
皆さまとお会いできる日を心待ちにしております。
