3/29（木）夜囲碁のレポートです。

Hello every one,maybe some people nice to meet you.
I’m Pandora.The owner of Hidamari.
This is a report of Night GO event in 29th Mar.

今回は19名の方にご参加頂きました。
参加して頂いた皆さま、ありがとうございました。

We had 19 guests this night.Thanks!

今回は、夜囲碁初参加の方が多くいらっしゃいました。
お仕事帰りに、通勤途中の駅だというわけでもなくお越しいただけるのは、嬉しい限りです。

There were many people who came to Hidamari for the first time tonight.
I’m glad my customer came after their work.
I think that few people can come to the shop on the way of commuting.
I am grateful for coming all the way.

もうすぐ帰ってしまう海外のお客さまに、自分の国にもこういうお店があったらいいのに！
と言ってもらえることが多々あります。

By the way,our guest from other countries said ” I want such a cafe in my country”.

私はひだまりが形になれば、きっとどこの街でも、国でもできるのではないかと思っています。
やるかやらないか、そこに対してどれだけ情熱を注ぎこんで、行動、継続できるか。

I think if Hidamari become bigger,I can open everywhere I want.
Do or Don’t.We need passion and action and don’t give up.

囲碁のお店は正直いって、ビジネスになるモデルではないと思っています。
新規出店よりも、閉店するお店の方が多いところを見ても、お分かりになるでしょう。

Go game business isn’t good business model I think.
It is obvious that there are many closures than newly opened stores.

しかし、私にとって囲碁のお店は家業です。なんとかしたい。
自分のお店だけでなく、「囲碁が好き。それを仕事にしたい。」そう思う人たちが、ちゃんと囲碁で食べることができるようにしたい。
それは、私の家族が囲碁というものに生活を支えて貰ってきたからです。
私の世代でそれを築くことが、囲碁に対しての恩返しなのではないかと思っています。

But,Go business is my family business.I want to do someting.
I would like to be an industry where not only my shop but also people who like go can live.
Because Go game gave us our life.
I think that my mission is to make Go a success as a business.

囲碁に関わる仕事というと、プロ棋士、囲碁インストラクター、囲碁の雑誌や新聞やテレビなどメディアに関わる人、碁会所の経営と席亭。
それくらいしかありません。

There are only jobs related to Go.
Professional,instructor,People involved in Go media, and manager of Go game club.
There aren’t so many jobs.

その中で、私にできることは、経営＆席亭という仕事を魅力的なものにすることだと思っています。
それができれば、自然と業界自体も成長していくでしょうし、ライバル店が増えることで、お店自体のクオリティもあがることでしょう。
今はお店の絶対数が少ないことで、低いクオリティでも行くところがないから、仕方なくそこにいっているという人もいると思います。
Among them, I think that what I can do is to make managers attractive.
If I can do,GO industry will grow up.
And Go clubs and cafe’s quality will be better than now with the increase of rival clubs and cafe.

ひだまりは世界に通じるお店作りを目指して、日々挑戦します。
Hidamari aims to make shops loved by people around the world and challenges everyday.

こうしてブログを書いているのも、そういった理由の一つです。
そして、ひだまりに顔を出して、ブログ読んでるよ！と言ってくれるお客さまがいることにも心から感謝です。
That’s why I am writing a blog like this.
I am sincerely grateful that there are customers who say ” I am reading blogs!”.
