７月２日~7日までのウェイークリーレポートです。

先週も梅雨空でぱっとしないお天気でしたね。
昼間の年配のお客さまも体調を崩されている方がとても多かったです。

Some people, nice to meet you.
I’m Mayu.
The owner of Hidamari.

This is a weekly report of last week.

It was still rainy season here in Japan now.

Some elder customers who play Go afternoon became sick because of this weather.

ひだまりでは夜囲碁の時に一皿250円のおばんざいを用意しております。
今回は、
アスパラとミニトマトとベーコンのおむれつ
冷ややっこ
蒸しどりときゅうりのごま和え
たぬきおむすび

でした。

I make Obanzai which are small plates like a above photo every week.

夜囲碁はいつもお越し頂いているお客さまのご家族の方が
海外から日本にきており、一緒にきて囲碁を覚えてくれました。

At night Go event,
our customer took her family who live in out side of Japan.

また週末には、アメリカ、オーストラリアからゲストが来店。
アメリカ人のクリスは、
私が以前ホームステイしていたカンザスシティから来ていて、
カンザスの野球、クラフトビールのブルワリー、BBQレストランなど、
共通のお店の話で大変盛り上がりました。

On weekend, we had guests from Australia and the U.S.
Chris from America lives in Kansas city now.
There was my second home in my life.
My host family live in there.

We talked about my second family, baseball, beer and BBQ restaurant in KS.

KS city is a small town in the U.S.
There are lots of towns and cities in the world,
but sometimes I can see people who live in the places i visited before.

カンザスシティはアメリカのど真ん中で田舎です。
世界は広く、都市なんてたくさんあるのに、
ピンポイントでそこの方と出会えるなんて、ご縁を感じますね。

こういう出会いは、ひだまりをオープンしてからたくさん訪れるようになりました。

そういうきっかけを私だけでなく、
スタッフや関わる人、お客さまに提供できるように、
たくさんのつながりを作っていきます。

With such encounters,
I can not help feeling the edge.

I am really looking forward to see many people from now on.
And I’d love to make many opportunities to people see other customers.
